So it is November 10, 2016.  Three days after the peak of feeling like we were on the brink of something historic in the American political system.  Two days after so many of us watched our televisions, in disbelief and teary-eyed as we watched someone we would not put in charge of babysitting our children be elected into the most powerful position in the world.  And one day after blowing through the stages of grief to get to this question: so where do we go from here?

This site is not the answer to this question.  There is no clear answer.  But it is one response, in the vein of “When they go low, we go high.”  This is one commitment to take Small Acts of Nonviolent Resistance (SAN-R) – to support the people who have been abused during this election and are left in limbo what this election means for their livelihoods, for their health, for their home, and for their marriage.

Small acts can make a difference, and so I commit to small acts each day through this presidency – but starting now.

Small acts can help – and hopefully small acts can help make us a little Saner.
